Diploma (Fellowship) Program in Advanced Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy
The Diploma program is an IFOMPT curriculum in the Philippines. An expert training for licensed physical therapists (PTRP) in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Level 8 of PRC PQF Standards.
Reciprocal standards with global OMPT education credential (E.g. FAAOMPT)
Workshop in Musculoskeletal Dry Needling (Certification)
Participants will demonstrate skills in safe application of DN techniques. Emphasis is placed on proper needle placement, needle insertion depth, anatomy, and safety technique considerations. Participants will be exposed to the certification exam grading rubric. The overall objective of this learning activity is to develop Physical Therapist confidence in treating patients incorporating DN techniques upon returning to the clinic.
Certification Program in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy
Is post graduate, post licensure program consist of a four-laboratory intensive courses that will allow PTRP to sit for the certification examination. An OMPT-C physical therapist is with a specialized training in orthopedic manual therapy, focusing on musculoskeletal disorders.

The Diploma Program in OMPT (Fellowship)
The Diploma in Advanced OMPT is a clinical and research-based program in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (OMPT).
Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (OMPT) is a specialization within Physical Therapy, which is concerned with the prevention and conservative management of pain and other symptoms of neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction in the spine and extremities (IFOMPT standards document).
The purpose of this program is to give physical therapists advanced training in orthopedic manual physical therapy while continuing clinical practice. Continuing clinical practice will make the training immediately applicable, thereby allowing retention of information. Furthermore, the program design will allow for uninterrupted employment, making the program more accessible and affordable.
The OMPTG is a recognize provider of OMPT training and education of the Philippine Association of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (PAOMPT), a Special Interest Group of the Philippine Physical Therapy Association (PPTA) and a Member Organization of the International Federation of Musculoskeletal and Manual Physical Therapists (IFOMPT).
The program curriculum is developed by OMPT in accordance with the educational standard document of IFOMPT, certified by the Philippine Association of Orthopedic Manual Physical therapists. The OMPTSG Diploma Program of Advanced Orthopedic Manual Therapy is in accordance with the Manual Therapy Description of Advanced Specialty Practice as set forth by IFOMPT.
